| Had the Spanish Conquered England I feel that the U.S. would not be as important in the present day. For one point the Spanish Infantry and Cavalry were significantly inferior to the English and would have lacked the ability to wage an effective ground war against the American colonies. So in effect the Revolution would have been a minor military conflict instead of the great struggle that is was taking away a great tempering point in our history. Leading on to later dates the power change in Europe would have changed the first challenge of the Germans in WW2 from the English to the Spanish. With this change the German attacks might have been stopped cold. This way the U.S. Would not have seen a major battle for the second time leaving us with no gumption to bolster our military and canceling out our involvement in Vietnam, So In the present day we would not be a military power at most we would be a technological leader and wouldn’t hold near the same weight in international matters leaving countless events that built this country up to what it is cut out of the time line. So the U.S. would not hold the same respect as a super power that is does now | | |
| A recluse In all respect I must agree Though one might appear out going and lively on the outside Who are you to say how they are on the inside Perhaps the one on the inside isnt the same Perhaps he hides himself in apparitions you believe him to be Maybe the compliments he gives is him longing to hear the same Maybe the jokes he makes are to sway the crowd away from the idea he has an emotional side Maybe the words of affirmation he chokes out from with in is him knowing how much those things would mean to him if only some one would say them Maybe you just dont know And maybe you just dont | | |

In the latter days of the tenth reign of the Hedran dynasty, The empire stood divided upon the matter of common rights, The richer class pushed Senan Diesis a rich land owner who stood for the "Acre per numeral" ideal a system in which the weight you had in the government was determined by the amount of land you owned and how much you contributed to the empire, The other class’ consisting mainly of farmers and artisans were backing Mendus Redis an ex slave who rose to prominence through military service, Who stood for the "Equal treatment" ideal which simply meant each citizen of the empire would count as a vote in all matters of public affair.
Needless to say the Nobles and landowner didn’t want a landless wood crafter to hold the same power as they would,
After months of talks between the sides no ground was given on either side leading to the "Farce of Xine" A plot in which the nobles hired an assassin to murder Senan, after the plot was pulled off the evidence left at the scene pointed towards the lower class being behind the event, After this the authorities were called and sent to apprehend Mendus seeing as he was the face of the lower class it would be a fitting example of what happens to those foolish enough to challenge the nobles.
Though as it happened the guards sent to capture Mendus happened upon his councilors who were great warriors in their own right, When the guards demanded the surrender of Mendus they refused and a battle ensued the guards retreated after losing seven men to the honor guard of Mendus
From this point the Civil war began and escalated into a travesty that few will forget. | | |
